OT also focuses on cognitive skills and on self-regulation skills by use of sensory processing strategies and methods of regulating emotions. In addition, OT works on development and improvement of visual motor skills needed for performance of daily activities.

Recreational Therapy

Our recreation therapists utilize the five domains of recreational therapy to improve our patient’s social health and reduce anxiety and depression: physical, social, cognitive, emotional and spiritual.
